Team Spark-O-matic #13176 Engineering Notebook
We built a drive train, not the drivetrain, but a drivetrain to experiment.
As teams and individually, we built hubs, The drivetrain frame, and the motor frame. Then we built new bounds with two new members of the Spark-O-Matic robotic team. Lastly we talked about more ideas and future changes to the design of the drivetrain which will be changed next week. With every change in design and new idea we learn and experience the joy of building robots.

Michael and Malea came to introduce us to drivetrains, different kinds, etc. Basically, what kind of drivetrain we can build with our kit Asking questions about not connected, connected, sprockets, power versus speed The Spark-O-Matic team learned about drive trains and all of their mechanized varieties, afterwards we showed off and explained our different ideas for our robot, Team 3486 T.W.A hosted a Q&A. Our team watched the video on arm machines sent to us by Jeff and Tereasa so that we could brain storm out our own ideas. We also started sketching out arm designs.
Spark-O-Matic Robotics Blog LaunchSaturday, 9/9/2017, we (Virtue, Chris, Emmanuel, Angel, Kelvin) met at the library and we watched the video for this year's challenge. And talked about it.
Tuesday, 9/12/2017 (Zale, Angel, Emmanuel, Destini, Emmanuel, De'La, Chris, Virtue, D'Anthony) 5:56 The spark-o-matic group watches the relic recovery game animation. 6:10 we talked about the game and took the parts out of the kit while talking about the games QnA about the game and rules 6:30 started to pack the parts for the robot Started the blog -- Destini and Chris will be our scribes |
